Wait, what’s Zipcar and why would I want to be a member? Because quite frankly car sharing is awesome. And if you’re like us who don’t own a car, having the ability to use one when it’s needed is a nice feeling — especially when you can get a truck and haul some compost in it — a feat that may be difficult via bike (or rather is — we’ve learned).

Not a member? No worries. Since you’re riding with us and have volunteered with us, you get a special member rate. Visit our Alleycat account page and sign up — no application fee, a reduced $25/year membership and cars from under $10 an hour when you need them.

That’s right! 2012 brings about the launch of our bike team. And this year, we’re supporting our friends at the American Diabetes Association and are riding together during the Tour de Cure in May — register and ride with our team in May, and you’ll ride for free with us in March!

We would not be where we are today without the help and support of our friends at Seattle Tilth. As an organization, Seattle Tilth remains a prominent organization is helping to create a healthier future.

That’s why we’re giving out 25 free registrations to friends + members of Seattle Tilth for this year’s ride down to Seattle Tilth Farm Works.

To redeem: Please visit the registration page and enter in code “SEATTLE TILTH.” Then skip the PayPal step for the registration fee. Once submitted, you’ll get a confirmation letter within a few hours to confirm your spot as a rider.
